Latest News: Using virtual reality-technology to educate about bullying

You can try to stop bullying by teaching about statistics as well tell stories about different cases and consequences but the effect is not always the preferred. To improve the teaching environment within this field the Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company, UR, has developed a virtual reality experience where the user can relive the classroom environment and a whole new perspective of the problem appear. The TV-host Musse Hasselvall comment: “This is what an ordinary day in many young peoples life look like. This experience only takes a couple of minutes but they who are exposed for bullying live this every day. And it is never ending.” Every year 55 000 children are exposed of different forms of bullying in Sweden. Source: UR, Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company
