Latest News: Swedish pupils to help schools in developing countries

BridgeeLearningworld News from Sweden

UNICEF Sweden is inviting all Swedish schools to participate in the yearly project where pupils leave school for one day and do a day’s work in a workplace. The money that they owe is transferred to help schools in different developing countries. The campaign Operation Day’s Work 2016 is focusing on enabling children with some form of disability in Mongolia to have better chances to be able to go to school. Last year the country in focus was Tanzania to help children get fresh water in school. The campaign was able to raise approximately €270 000 from the Swedish school children’s work.
