Best way to learn a language is to interact in an environment that is as authentic as possible. The first choice would be to learn the language in a country where the language is the mother tongue. If this is not possible why not bring such environment to your hometown? In Tokyo an English village will be built in this spirit for English language studies and practice. The home of the village is planned to be an office building in Koto Ward with an expected area of 5-6000 square-meters and is expected to open in 2018. A group of experts have concluded that to build the English language centre as a “village” should give all of the 840,000 students in Tokyo — from 5th graders to those in third-year high school — a chance to “experience the fun and the need of using English, as opposed to just learn English.” Source: The Japan Times
