The semantic web is not a separate web, but an extension of the World Wide Web. Timothy Berners-Lee, the founder of WWW, was the one who first used the term and it can be explained as a web that is adapted to the human brain. The goal with semantic web is to break down the World Wide Web’s enormous boundless texts to viewable data within specified subjects. This will e.g. improve learning since when put in practice it means to present content in the form and media format that is best adapted to human perception ability in a specific situation.
