Latest News: Teacher Training with Global Perspective put in practice

The GLAD-project is a cross-border co-operation between the teacher training programme on the Danish island Fyn and teacher training programmes in Kenya. GLAD means Global Learning – Advanced professionalism – Dialogue and includes four parts of collaboration: The first part is co-learning that means that the Danes and Kenyans mutually develop themes for different school-subjects that works within the frame of each country’s curriculum. The second part is that Danish teacher-student get teaching-practice in Kenya. The third part is teacher exchange between the two countries. And the last is creating modules on themes like intercultural meeting, intercultural competence, intercultural didactics/pedagogy and the schools international/global dimension. Source: emu.dk
