Northern Ireland offer MinecraftEdu to all its secondary schools for free as a part of CultureTECH, Northern Ireland’s innovation festival. The funding comes from Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure of Northern Ireland. The project includes over 200 schools, 30 libraries and community organisations, and a number of volunteer-led coding clubs. MinecraftEdu is a special edition of the world famous game that is adapted to school’s classrooms.
